Our new apprentice Aaron, has nearly completed his first month for JDL Flooring Ltd.

He has already proven to be hard working, well mannered and has a great attitude to learning. He has a bright future ahead and we are glad to have him on board.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) vs Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)...

Both LVP and LVT are made from the same multi-layered vinyl construction, both offering water resistance, durability, and versatility.

However, LVT is offered as square (or rectangular) tiles, offering the ability to create a wider variety of aesthetics or patterns.

LVP on the other hand - as the name suggests - comes in planks designed to look like real wood. By extension, LVP is less versatile in terms of design, but we've seen LVP rise in popularity for domestic use.

We’ve had the pleasure of completing another domestic flooring project this week in Rainhill, St Helens.

As always, we met with the customer prior to the installation to discuss the design and look they desired, and found a flooring option which complimented the kitchen.

They decided on a parquet oak design luxury vinyl plank, which has been a popular choice for our domestic customers recently.

The finished product looks great, and we were grateful to be involved.
