I'm not really a scrapbooker and admit often 12 x 12 card fazes me. Add to that I don't like to fussy cut, so my latest make is something totally different for me.
I find it easier to start projects like this thinking I'm photo mounting rather than scrapbooking so I don't have any pressure to think of titles, journalling which generally sends my mind blank! This is a picture of my grandparents taken in 1940.
This page uses just 2 of the Petal Garden Memories and More cards and 1 sheet of the matching papers. My starting point was the Sweet Moment card which I cut to use as a frame as well as the title. The banners on either side were cut from the reverse side of the paper and the centre of the frame card. Overlaying the flowers allowed me to use the flowers that went off the page by hiding the straight edge. For those on the banners, I purposely used the straight edge - less fussy cutting for me!
The smaller Remember card is a pull out tab for hidden journalling as I'm planning on hanging in my hallway.
You get 72 double sided cards of 2 sizes plus 4 sheets of gold foil cut outs and 2 sheets of diecut stickers and 48 sheets in the matching 6x6 paper pack so it will go a long way - I still have scraps left from the little I used!
Thanks for visiting,
