Chrissy's Crafts "A Proper Wool Shop" at Unit 3, Craythorne Farm in Stretton, Burton on Trent) is officially celebrating its 10th anniversary!
The local independent knitting and crochet supplier first opened its doors on October 15, 2016, under founders Chrissy and George. To mark a decade of serving the crafting community, the shop is hosting a full week of celebrations starting Tuesday, 13 October 2016, to Saturday 17th featuring daily customer treats
Over the last 10 years, the shop has grown from a passionate startup into a beloved local community hub known for:
Massive Yarn Selection: including different ranges of King Cole, alongside over 100 shades of Stylecraft Special DK, Woolcraft, Hand died Hanks, crochet kits, with a large range of patterns and books to support the yarns also over over 600 button varieties and premium tools from brands like KnitPro, Clover, and Prym.
• Community Focus: Fostering creativity through regular crochet lessons and their signature weekly Saturday "Knit and Natter" social sessions.
