A heavenly collection of putti , although some look less than angelic!

Wonderfully carved polychrome wooden arch, or door garland, probably once framing a doorway or alter. Late 17th or early 18th century, with centuries of glorious patina and plenty of character.

At an impressive 125cm high and 101cm wide you’ll have your own small army of putti, keeping a watchful eye! 👼🏻

An extraordinary piece of Continental Gothic Revival lighting! 🏰
Standing a metre tall without the chain, this substantial lantern has just about everything going on architecturally. A castellated crown with six turrets, a steeply pitched, overlapping scale-patterned roof, scrolling foliate decoration, bevelled glass throughout and a rather splendid ecclesiastical finial to its base.
An unusual design, and certainly not something you come across every day.
If you’ve got a grand entrance hall or a staircase crying out for something special, this might just be the answer. You’ll need a decent ceiling height though! 😏

A charming Newlyn Arts & Crafts copper chamberstick and matchbox holder, decorated with a Cornish fishing boat, probably a lugger. ⚓️

Perfect as a decorative candle holder, or for those who fancy going full Poldark and wandering around the house by candlelight. Shirt optional, brooding expression essential! 🕯️🏴‍☠️😉

BEFORE and AFTER…Sometimes it’s the simplest things that bring the most satisfaction! 🙂

I spent a few hours between customers in the shop giving this rather tired old beech towel rail a little TLC. Nothing fancy, just a good clean, French polish and some beeswax to bring it back to life.

A lovely, honest piece of functional antique furniture, now looking rather splendid and ready for her next home!
