Another fantastic transformation completed by Anglia Camper Conversions!

Chris came to us wanting to modernise his camper setup, so we completely removed the old kitchen and carried out a full upgrade to improve both functionality and comfort.

We supplied and fitted a brand new custom-designed kitchen, giving the van a much more modern, clean and practical finish.

As part of the upgrade we also installed:
• Split charge system
• Autoterm diesel night heater
• New fridge installation
• Sargent EC160 power management unit
• Passenger double swivel seat
• Seat incline bracket for improved comfort
• Full electrical upgrade and tidy-up

The passenger double swivel seat is a fantastic addition to any campervan, allowing the front seating area to rotate into the living space. This creates a much more open and social layout, maximising usable space inside the van without adding extra seats.

We also fitted a seat incline bracket, which improves the seating angle for a far more comfortable passenger experience. Many standard van seats can feel upright and uncomfortable on long journeys, so the incline bracket helps create a more natural seating position and reduces fatigue while travelling.

The end result is a stylish, modern and reliable camper interior ready for many adventures ahead.

Busy Few Weeks at Anglia Camper Conversions 🔧🚐

It’s been non-stop here recently, with a range of upgrades and installs completed for our customers—everything from awnings to full interior transformations.
We’ve been busy fitting premium Fiamma awnings and sleek Vamoose rail systems, helping customers get more out of their vans with practical, great-looking upgrades.
But the highlight has to be a full interior rework on a recently purchased Volkswagen Transporter T6.1. The customer loved the van—but the existing kitchen just didn’t work for them.
Once we removed the original kitchen, it quickly became clear why—there were panels missing and wiring left exposed and disorganised, leaving the space looking unfinished and far from practical.
So we stepped in.
We designed and built a completely bespoke, made-to-measure kitchen, tailored specifically to the van. One of the key challenges was ensuring the sliding bed system could still function properly—and we made it work seamlessly.
Alongside the new kitchen, we:
✔️ Rewired and tidied all electrics to suit the new layout
✔️ Installed a new SMEV 9222 sink hob for a clean, modern cooking setup
✔️ Fitted a new 12V fridge for off-grid convenience
The result? A van that not only looks better, but works exactly how the customer needs it to—safe, tidy, and ready to get out there and start making memories.

Subtle Upgrades, Big Difference ✨🚐

We recently carried out a clean, high-quality install on our customer’s much-loved campervan—focusing on improving both looks and practicality without compromising its character.

To achieve a more streamlined, factory-style finish, we fitted a Vamoose rail system. This allows the awning to sit lower and neater against the van, avoiding the bulky look you often get with standard brackets.

We then installed a Fiamma F45s 260 awning, perfectly suited to the vehicle and now sitting beautifully thanks to the rail setup. The result is a sleek, tidy appearance that blends in with the van rather than standing out.

To top it off, we fitted a Fiamma LED case light, adding practical illumination right where it’s needed—ideal for evenings under the awning, whether you’re cooking, relaxing, or just enjoying the outdoors.

We regularly work on a wide range of vehicles, and this time we had the pleasure of fitting a premium Fiamma F80 400 awning to a brand new Fiat Ducato L4—giving the customer instant outdoor living space and a clean, factory-style finish.

The F80 is a top-mounted awning system, perfect for vans like the Ducato where a sleek, integrated look is key. We carefully installed the awning using the correct mounting system, ensuring a secure fit while protecting the vehicle’s bodywork.

Got a Half-Finished Camper Project? We Can Help 🔧🚐

This van came to us after a DIY conversion had stalled. The customer had made a start but wasn’t confident finishing it—leaving key areas incomplete and some work needing putting right.

One major issue was poorly prepared window cut-outs, with bare metal left untreated. If left, this would have led to corrosion and bigger problems down the line. We removed the windows, properly treated and protected all exposed metal, and refitted everything correctly.

From there, we transformed the interior—fully insulating, sound deadening, and professionally carpet lining the van to give it a clean, high-quality finish. We also fitted new panels to the barn doors and roof, completely tidying up the space.

Safety is just as important as looks. The customer had a rear seat but wasn’t sure how to install seat belts safely. We professionally fitted the seat and installed the seat belts correctly, giving full peace of mind.

To finish the job, we installed a new rear threshold and side step, refitted the windows, and gave the van a full clean—ready for the customer to enjoy.
