Dare to be different!

This week we have been in Treharris, providing Tom with his new Versailles glue-down LVT flooring. A welcome change from the usual herringbone!

We prepared the floor Monday and returned today to install. As always, only using the best products from UZIN UK with the flooring bonded using the fantastic KE49 HT.

A real transformation, done properly.

Here we have mechanically abraded this gypsum based screed to remove laitence and applied a suitable primer & smoothing compound. RH% was absolutely perfect for this one, so no need for moisture suppressant.

There are many subfloor types, with an array of site specific conditions. There is no "on size fits all". Ensure your installers know the do's and dont's and how to proceed correctly, with longevity and quality in mind.

Once the area was properly prepared at this property, we installed this beautiful natural oak glue-down herringbone LVT. What an absolute show-stopper of a floor 😍

Natural Light Oak herringbone LVT installed today for Mike.

Here we have prepared the subfloor and bonded the LVT flooring with UZIN UK products 🤝

Last year we installed the lounge and newly renovated kitchen. Now we have brought the flooring through into this area. The flooring has been uplifted in the doorway and carried through, ensuring the floor continues to flow through the home. Back soon for the rest!

Our light oak herringbone LVT continues to impress in this renovation in Fforestfach.

We have been with the wonderful Wendy this week, a returning customer. Initially quoting for the kitchen quickly turned into a full downstairs rip out and starting from scratch.

Great results here. It is always lovely to see previous customers again for new projects 😁

This week we have had the pleasure of working with Gareth & Nia on their beautiful renovation in Beddau.

Here we have covered 100m² in our beautiful light oak herringbone LVT, including a border through the hallway and kitchen/extension area with 5mm black feature strip.

We prepped the floor using Mapei UK Ltd Latexplan smoothing compound and moisture suppressant over the newly installed extension slab. New slab grinded prior to applying these products to ensure a proper bond.

Light Oak LVT installed for Anique & Joel this week 😊

Here we have applied Mapei UK Ltd Latexplan smoothing compound over existing tiles in the kitchen and over a concrete subfloor at the front of the house. Easy when you have the right materials 🤝

From tired laminate flooring and carpet, to clean, seamless LVT flooring. A lovely tranformation here.
