The difference specialist fitting can make

This client contacted Floor Coverings after other flooring companies had been unable to help with her badly installed and damaged Roger Oates stair runner.

Our experienced fitting team was able to find a practical solution, using spare material left over from the original installation to restore the finish.

It’s a great example of why choosing trained, experienced fitters for specialist products like Roger Oates matters. The intricate designs and detailing require the right skills and product knowledge to achieve the best result.

Take a look at the before and after. We’re delighted our team could help this client get the best from her existing runner.
At Floor Coverings, the right expertise makes all the difference.

A beautiful wood floor starts with good installation.

When it comes to wood flooring, there are some important details that aren’t always obvious and expansion gaps are one of them.

As a natural material, wood needs room to move. Get this wrong and you could end up with problems further down the line.

In our latest Reel, we’re explaining why expansion gaps are needed, where they should be and why they’re so important.

🎥 Give it a watch before you have your wood flooring fitted.

if you’re considering a new wood floor, our expert team can help you get every detail right.

If you’re choosing a new carpet, it’s worth thinking beyond just the colour and feel. Come and explore our Westex collection in the showroom.

When choosing a new carpet, it’s easy to focus on the colour, texture and style but what goes underneath is just as important.

At Floor Coverings, we use premium underlay because it provides the right foundation for your carpet and can make a noticeable difference to comfort, performance and longevity.

Paul explains why we believe premium underlay is worth investing in.

It’s one of those things you might not see, but you’ll certainly feel.

There’s something about autumn that makes us want to bring a little more warmth and comfort into our homes. 🍂

Carpet is one of the easiest ways to do it.

From warm beige and soft taupe through to deeper earthy tones, autumnal carpet shades can create a cosy, welcoming feel while still working beautifully with a neutral interior.

Whether you’re updating one room or looking at flooring throughout your home, there are so many tones to choose from.

🎥 Take a look at our reel for some of our favourite autumnal carpet colours.

If you’re not sure which shade will work in your home, pop into our showroom and see them for yourself.
