Who remembers having ‘talks too much’ on their school report? 🫣🤣

Turns out talking too much has ended up coming in handy for me.. when you run a small business being able to talk pays off - whether it’s directly to customers resulting in sales/bookings, talking to your community via social media, or dealing with suppliers and trades.

So, here’s to the chatty, distracting, over-the-top, daydreamer kids who constantly got told off in class and are now living their best lives as adults 🥂🤣

Do any of these resonate with you? What did your school reports say?? 🤔

Proof I’m not the only one in the house who is mad for animal print 😏🦓

Throwback to exploring Lisbon with this menace Brad Newlands

Brad (luckily) has the same maximalist taste as me.. good job really else our home might be a little problematic now 😛

This is the room that started it all 🤎

A few years ago I was a receptionist with 2 failed businesses and no idea what I was doing with my life. I decided to decorate our bedroom - wallpaper, paint, the lot - and somewhere in the chaos of it all (and Brad tripping & kicking a full bucket of water up my freshly papered walls) I realised my absolute love for how the transformation made the room feel TOTALLY different.

S**g Interior was born in this room. I just didn’t realise it.

I know it’s not my best work, I never share photos of this room because it’s due an update and I have some serious storage issues to address, but I wanted to share my origin story with you.

It took a lot more rooms in the house, a lot of learning and a lot of questionable first attempts at limewash before I managed to start a business in interiors, but realising that how a room is decorated is EVERYTHING to do with how you feel inside it came from this first, humble transformation.

If you have ever had that lightbulb moment that changed your life forever I would love to hear about it 👇🏼

Some exciting news to share with you tonight - S**g Interior is officially an award-winning business! 🥳

This one was a public vote, so thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that voted for me! There was a lot of competition in this category so I’m chuffed to have won!

And of course, a massive thank you to whoever it was that nominated me in the first place! 🤎
