🎃 Adventurers' Log 6 – Happy Halloween! 🎃

Last night our adventurers set out on a special Halloween quest!

First, we took the younglings out to scour the local village for loot, treasures and treats, encountering many a monster along the way. A successful evening of exploration, bravery and a frankly impressive haul of treasure! 🍬👻

Then it was back to base for a blind bag one-shot! Each adventurer received a mystery character and had to discover who they'd be playing as the adventure unfolded.

New characters, unexpected abilities, questionable decisions and someone still can't be trusted with any sort of flame, no matter what character they are playing

Death stalked the party throughout the evening… and the Goatman eventually met his maker. 💀

Until the next adventure, curiosity awaits! ⚔️🐉

🐉🧶 A WORD FROM THE WORKSHOP…

At Houx's Trading Post, we believe in handmade magic, unique treasures, and occasionally having absolutely no idea what yarn we're working with.

We don't always know what yarn we're using, but when we need to, we've usually lost the label. 😂

Case in point: this gorgeous pastel dragon-scale set! 🩵🩷💜

A one-of-a-kind matching dice bag and fingerless gloves, born from a mystery ball of yarn lurking in the stash.

Can we recreate it exactly? Absolutely not.
Do we know what the yarn was? Also no.
Is it gorgeous? YOU BET YOUR D20 IT IS. 🎲🐉

✨ Unique treasures, handmade with a little chaos and a lot of love.

Come find your next favourite loot drop at Houx's Trading Post!

📍 Catch us at Deck the Stall Christmas Market, The Paddocks, Canvey Island

📖🐉 Adventurers Log 5: The Quest for Autumnal Adventure 🐉📖

Our intrepid adventuring party went forth into the mysterious lands of Wyvernwood meeting pirates, wizards, fairies, dragons and unicorns

There were enchanted woods, magical characters, pumpkins aplenty and opportunities to test our courage… although some of the woodland trials were unfortunately closed due to treacherous winds.

Even adventurers must respect a health and safety assessment. 🙄🤣

The party returned with memories made, faces painted, and at least one goblin who may or may not have been powered entirely by excitement and the promise of chippies.

✨ Until next time, adventurers… keep your dice close, your companions closer, and your goblins where you can see them.

🛠️🐉 WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY 🐉🛠️

We may have made a slight addition to the workshop… 👀

We've recently picked up licences for a whole host of miniatures from DM Stash, giving us a library of gorgeous prints to bring to life.

And what did our resident rogue decide to print first?

A little dice accessory? A modest miniature? Something sensible to ease us in?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂

Straight in at the deep end with Rapunzel's Cursed Tower — playable terrain AND a dice tower, because apparently our rogue believes in going big or going home!

Look at the detail on this beast! 🏰🐉 There's still a little tidying up to do before it gets its paint job, but we couldn't resist sharing a peek at this absolute unit.

We're not sure yet whether this one will make it into the shop — it's certainly not a small undertaking! 👀

Now, the big question… what colour scheme would YOU give a cursed tower? 🎨
