Going to make bucket hats for next week as it’s going to be a heat wave 🤗😂

It was originally going to be rain macs and wellies but now it’s looking like bucket hats and sun cream 😂😂

Do your kids give teachers give at the end of the year! Well if they do then these would make a perfect gift and something different to the norm.
I can add the teachers on the spine if you would like it to be more personal.

Well folks how’s everyone been today? Hope you’re coping well!🥵
The Splottie girls went to their Knit and Natter group with friend Jackie this morning. Hard going for mama, she just doesn’t like this heat at all….Seen a days gone by photo of the 1976 heat wave. Brought back memories, mama was living in Germany, and a forest fire had broken out just down the road, water planes were flying over 24/7, unfortunately, there was also an ammunition camp quite close by, 😳 so was put on standby to be evacuated at anytime! Thankfully everything was brought under control before anything serious happened.

Hope everyone is managing to keep cool in this heatwave, 🥵🥵

This is the temperature today in Splottie land. I’m afraid mama Splottie is not a sun worshiper, and is melting away, 🥵 and trying to keep cool 🆒 lil Splottie has been out doing some weeding 🥵 so no sewing done today, don’t think there’ll be anything done this week, apart from knitting by mama. Hope you all have a good evening, and everyone is able to sleep tonight!😴🥵💋

Morning everyone, hope you all had a good weekend and all ready for the coming week.
What a miserable day it is here in Splottie land, I think the Splottie girls will be struggling to get anything done today 🫤lil Splottie has lots of new items to assemble, and sew up, and mama has knitting on her needles needing to be completed! A new lap blanket has been completed on the loom, just waiting to be blocked, and a new graph in progress, ready for the next blanket to be started! Blankets are really a great thing to have, especially in the current climate, if you’d like one, pls feel free to ask!
Cushions were requested last week for a birthday present, football theme, and Avenger/StarWars, completed, birthday boy was very pleased 😁
We have a very large selection of materials, if anyone would like one made up for that special gift.

Lil Splottie (B) just giving a quick update.
My neck/shoulder etc is still not fully recovered but I have some new meds and slowly getting back into things. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be 75% functioning.

I have some Father’s Day and Teacher gift ideas and products I’ll be starting to work on, so keep an eye out for them.

It’s been a weird week the past week, due to me (lil Splottie) having issues with my neck/shoulder.

If you didn’t know i had a few injuries from serving in the military with of those injuries being my neck.

I underwent spinal surgery 3 years a go and we had hoped it would make a big difference.
Unfortunately it hasn’t and when it flares up severely it’s a nightmare.
So sadly I’ve not been able to do much this past week because it affects my constant headaches and numbness/pain in neck/shoulder/arm/hand.

I’ve tried to see the gp but not been able to get an appointment, fingers crossed I’ll be able to be seen in the next couple of days as it’s really getting me down.

That’s why I’ve a bit quiet this week, hopefully I’ll be back properly, I’ll put some sale items up over the next couple of days. Plus I’ll try to show some new things I was working on before my neck flared up.

Thank you for the continued support, I will get back on track and can’t wait to show and make some more amazing items with you 💖
