Looking for something different for a Christmas do or just want to buy some time out in a busy festive season or time with a friend? It’s a good excuse for some floral faffery - clinically proven to drop those cortisol levels and almost guarenteed to make you feel gloriously festive. There’s something wonderful about making a big old mess and not being responsible for the tidy up time - getting creative is good for the soul and all those anxious creatives who are worried about not getting something beautiful at the end I promise I won’t let you go home with an ugly wreath! What makes us different is that I put a huge amount of effort into creating a beautiful magical festive space to spend an hour or two escaping and pottering about to make something different… the smell of bay and eucalyptus, dried orange and lime slices, berries and dried seed pods pine cones and festive loveliness … velvety ribbons and twiggy bits come and have a play!

Just some fairly random thoughts about one of my favourites… I grew brighter varieties this year but the pale ones are my firm favourites always … but definitely one flower baby name which might not catch on…? Are you a fan of ranunculus…?

is the soundtrack to my happy when the world gets a little heavy… just like flowers bring me back to the moment. We all need to know our happy places ( bonus points when the Jack Johnson is being played upstairs by my teenage son on his guitar… house full of music, flowers and Jack Johnson )
