A bold geometric mosaic coffee table combining British Pop Art colour with mid-century modern graphic design. The composition juxtaposes diagonal black-and-white stripes with a grid of saturated colour tiles, framed by a vivid orange steel structure.

My latest piece is a reclaimed tennis racket. Totally refurbished with a respray and new grip, this racket used to belong to Amy Guildford. Amy's not a famous tennis player, but I know this was her racket because her name was written on a little white sticker near the handle. This was a lovely reminder of a former life for the racket, one which I was now responsible to prolong.

My signature reticulated style of black gloss and matte ceramic tile was installed where the strings would be.

In my work, I seek to capture the essence of a subject using as little material as possible. Each portrait is built from fragments of broken ceramic — shards of form and colour that, when placed in deliberate tension with empty space, allow the viewer’s perception to complete what’s missing.

This process, which I call Incompletionism, is as much about absence as it is about presence. Every gap is intentional; every void speaks. By reducing the image to its purest rhythm of shape and tone, I explore how emotion and identity can survive — and even intensify — when detail is stripped away.

The subject for this piece is found in the second picture. In my experience the music created by the band and Justin Vernon's solo work transcends a listening experience. Listening to an album (I'd strongly recommend SABLE, fABLE, their latest (and last?) album) takes me to places, some of comfort, some of fear or confusion.. A visceral experience in the truest sense.

What begins as destruction — the breaking of tile — becomes reconstruction and renewal. The broken becomes whole again, not by restoring what was lost, but by revealing what was always there: the truest expression of form through restraint.

You should look at art in anyway you like. Although I'd make one suggestion....try squinting

I’m very sorry to share that William, the mosaic installed just over a year ago in the Ebenezer Gate Pocket Park has gone missing sometime over the past weekend.

This piece was created as a gentle reminder to check in on the people in your life who might appreciate that call. It’s heart-breaking to see it taken from the place it belonged.

If anyone has seen the artwork or has any information about its whereabouts, please contact me or directly.

Your help would mean a great deal.

A reminder to myself that the process is just as important as the result.

Texture, depth and shards of colour bring theses pieces to life.

We are told that leaders reflect the society they represent, yet so often they appear out of balance, distorted, or self-serving. This mosaic explores that disconnect: the tension between authentic, principled lives led by ordinary people and the skewed positions of those elevated above us.

Misalignment asks whether power corrupts or whether positions of power simply attract those already bent by ambition. In an age of curated information and divisive rhetoric, we risk mistaking manipulation for truth.

Yet, at the heart of this work lies a reminder: despite blurred lines, we know what is right and wrong. The imbalance of leadership does not erase our collective instinct for decency.

Handmade in my signature reticulated style (I call it Giraffe Spots), this Les Paul–inspired guitar is covered in gloss and matte ceramic tiles, creating a fractured surface that shimmers like volcanic stone.

Unfortunately, no longer a playable instrument — this sculptural artwork is part of my growing Reticulated Collection with more unique pieces to come.

This work will be on display as part of the@southbristolartstrail next weekend! Drop into the where it’ll be on display with other new works in the Milford Hall and
