WHY DOES PREGNANCY MAKE YOU SO TIRED?

Pregnancy can make even the simplest things feel exhausting, and it’s not because you’re being lazy. ❤️

Your body is working overtime to support your growing baby. Hormonal changes, increased blood production, physical changes, and the extra energy your body uses can all contribute to pregnancy fatigue.

💡 What may help:
• Get enough rest whenever you can
• Eat balanced meals regularly
• Stay hydrated
• Take gentle walks if your healthcare provider says it’s okay
• Don’t feel guilty about slowing down when your body asks you to

Mama, sometimes rest is productive too. 🤍

😴👶🏽 BABY SLEEP CAN BE A WHOLE JOURNEY!

Newborns sleep a lot, but their sleep often comes in short and unpredictable stretches. So if your little one isn’t sleeping through the night yet, mama, you’re not doing anything wrong. ❤️

Look out for sleepy cues like:
✨ Yawning
✨ Rubbing their eyes
✨ Fussiness

And always remember safe sleep: place baby on their back, on a firm, flat sleep surface, with the sleep area free from loose pillows, blankets and soft toys.

Mummies, be honest 😂👇🏽
How many hours of sleep did you get last night?

Eating for two means you should double your food intake.”

❌ MYTH!

Pregnancy does increase your nutritional needs, but it doesn’t mean you need to eat twice as much. What matters most is choosing nutritious, balanced meals that support both mama and baby. 🥑🥕🍳

Mamas, what pregnancy advice did someone give you that made you wonder, “Is this actually true?” 😂👇🏽

Is your little one starting to show interest whenever you’re eating? 👀🥣👶🏽

Starting solids is an exciting milestone, but it’s important to look for signs that your baby is developmentally ready—not just a specific age. ❤️

Some signs include good head control, sitting with support, showing interest in food, being able to swallow food rather than pushing it out, and losing the tongue-thrust reflex.

Every baby develops differently, so when you’re unsure, speak with your baby’s pediatrician before introducing solids. 🌸

Mamas, what was the FIRST food you gave your baby? 🥰👇🏽

Mama, your body has been through something incredible, and it deserves time, patience and plenty of care. 🥹❤️

Postpartum healing is not a race. Give yourself permission to rest, eat nourishing meals, stay hydrated, move gently when you’re ready, and accept help from the people around you. 🌸

Your emotional and mental well-being matters too. Some days may feel beautiful, while others may feel overwhelming—and it’s okay to talk about how you feel and ask for support. 🤱🏽💕

Most importantly, remember this: you don’t have to be a perfect mama. Just be present, be patient with yourself, and take it one day at a time. ❤️

If you’re a new mama, what has postpartum taught you so far? 👇🏽🥰

Baby sleep can be a whole adventure! 😂👶🏽💕

Newborns sleep a lot, but usually in short stretches, so it’s completely normal for their sleep pattern to feel unpredictable.

Look out for sleepy cues like yawning, rubbing their eyes and fussiness. And remember the basics of safe sleep: place baby on their back, use a firm, flat sleep surface, and keep the sleep area free from pillows, loose blankets and soft toys. ❤️

Mamas, you’re learning your baby every day. Be patient with yourself. 🌸

What was your baby’s sleep pattern like as a newborn? 👇🏽😂

💧 Mama, don’t forget to hydrate!

Whether you’re pregnant or caring for a newborn, staying hydrated is an important part of taking care of yourself. ❤️

Keep your water bottle close, sip regularly throughout the day and include water-rich foods such as fruits, cucumber and soups. 🍉🥒🥣

Small sips can make a big difference! 🌸

Mamas, be honest 😂👇🏽 How often do you remember to drink water?
