sorry for being a bit mia, a lot has been happening recently and i’ve found it hard to focus and find much motivation to draw. on a nice note though, ive started a tattoo artist apprenticeship so ive also been spending some time learning & practicing on fake skin etc. which i think is pretty cool.
anyway, take this chaffinch sketch as an apology :))

haven’t done a portrait in such a long time, but i’ve enjoyed the whole process of doing this one. it reminded me of how grounding spending time on details/textures etc. is for me.
i’d tweak this one a little as it was a bit of rush getting it finished in the end, but for now i’m happy with it. 🔮🦉
