I recently had a visit from and she brought these vintage macrame pattern books she and her mum used in the 1970's 📖

How cool are some of these projects! 😍

I'm so glad for modern macrame books, online videos and teachers. Well done to all the macrame makers back in the day! 😅

Suzy told me that the only cord to make macrame back then was made from nylon. How lucky we are for the huge variety of cord available to us now. 🙌🏻🎉🙏🏻

MEGA MACRAME MARCH 🎉
March is a busy month for me here at Studio 13. I'm holding 3 workshops and will have a table at the Carlogie Cafe, all being held in March. The details are in the posters but here's a wee rundown of what's coming up:

🪴Thursday 7 March 6-8pm - Plant Hanger Workshop, .makes.crafts, Carnoustie (free🪴included)

🍷Friday 15 March 6-8pm, Macrame Coaster workshop, in Arbroath

☕️Friday 22 March, 10-11.30am, Carlogie Cafe, Macrame stall, Panbride Church Hall, Carnoustie

💐Monday 25 March 2-4pm, Macrame Flower Workshop, Arbroath

All the workshops are suitable for beginners and all materials will be provided.

Bookings for the workshops can be made online or in store. Any questions just DM me 😊
