A question I always ask my clients… are you led by trends, or do you want a home that feels timeless and considered?

Choosing paint colours is one of the most underestimated decisions in a home. It’s not just about what’s “in”. It’s about how your space feels, how the light moves through it, and how everything works together.

Whats on my desk this week...

Designing a calming well-being space centred around soft greens and gentle textures. Think muted green walls paired with beautifully textured wallpaper, layered with soft, neutral curtain fabrics that diffuse the light just enough.

This is the kind of space that invites you to slow down... perfect for yoga, stretching, or a few quiet moments of meditation in a busy day. Nothing harsh, nothing overwhelming - just a soft, grounded palette that helps the mind switch off.

It’s not just about how a room looks… it’s about how it makes you feel.

Too many ideas can be just as limiting as none at all.

When everything feels possible, it becomes harder to choose anything with confidence. You second-guess decisions, change direction, and end up feeling stuck rather than inspired.

This is something I see often - especially with clients who have great taste, but no clear way to bring it all together.

Good design isn’t about having more ideas. It’s about refining them. Editing them. Creating a clear direction that feels right for your home and your lifestyle.

My role is to guide that process - turning overwhelm into clarity, and helping you move forward with confidence in every decision.
