Introducing the new Lowen collection from Romo!

This collection took inspiration from the popular mid-century aesthetic, but placed a modern spin on things, and we are obsessed with the result!

You can really tell that each print was designed to be harmonious, both in pattern composition and colour ways, all while paying homage to one of the most iconic eras of interior design. Bathroom design... where to start? A famously difficult space to get right, as there are many practical elements to balance alongside creating a luxurious atmosphere.

With years of experience, having designed and fitted many different kinds of bathrooms, here are some of our practical top tips if you are about to embark on a bathroom renovation.

1. Invest in quality fittings, as cheaper fittings will often not last, so ultimately end up costing you more. These bathroom elements will be used everyday, so it is not an area to underinvest it!

2. A good extractor fan is crucial for managing condensation, and preventing further issues along the line.

3. Don’t rely solely on spotlights, as this can make the space feel rather clinical. Perhaps have a look at softer wall lights, or an illuminated mirror, depending on how you want to use the space.

4. Think about your grout colour, as picking a sympathetic grout creates a more timeless look compared to the stark contrasting white.

I always love , as it is the perfect place to get inspired and discover new products. This year we absolutely loved the new Hula collection from which is a mix of prints and embroidery.

Bex and I felt like kids in a sweetie shop flicking through this book, such gorgeous colours and designs!

We can’t wait to be one of the first to receive this new collection when the books are released next month. Everything in it is so beautiful it will be hard to choose our favourites!

Thank you to all who supported our coffee morning last friday. It was lovely to see so many of you…and have an excuse to eat cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Thank you also to the local businesses who kindly donated a fabulous selection of prizes for our raffle.

I’m very proud to announce we raised a fantastic £866 for this very worthy cause.

It’s become one of our favourite days of the year, and no doubt we’ll be running it again next year.

As always, it is so lovely to be reminded of what a strong community we have here in Chandlers Ford.

Thank you to all the local companies who donated to our raffle, friends and family who baked cakes, and those of you who came to support our Macmillan coffee morning yesterday. It was lovely to see you all!

We’re still totalling up the donations, so will update you on that soon, but in the meanwhile here are the raffle winners!
