For my dear friend Pietro, who recently passed away. 💙🙏

Pietro commissioned me to create this ocean wave painting, and he created his own final painting on a tile too. Bless his soul. 🫟💙

It means so much to me that we shared this love of art. I hope this wave will always carry a little piece of his memory with it. 🌊💙🙏

Finger-painting fun! 🎨 This is a little sneak peek of an upcoming commissioned painting. A full video tutorial will be coming soon!

This one is particularly special to me. It’s a commission for my dear friend Pietro, who sadly passed away recently. Pietro used to supply me with paints and canvases, and for this painting he asked me to create a wave using these beautiful blues with a touch of red, to reflect love, faith and hope.

Pietro was cared for by Cornwall Hospice Care in his final days. When he was in hospital, I went in to see whether he felt up to doing a little painting, as he hadn’t been able to make our last workshop. He managed to use a palette knife for a moment or two, and the look in his eyes and his smile made my day. ❤️

I was able to varnish and back the painting before he passed away at the hospice. Pietro had said he would love to see it sold on their craft table. Miraculously, a very kind and generous person bought it, raising over £300 for Cornwall Hospice Care, which was exactly what Pietro had hoped for.

So this painting will be going onto that same hospice craft table in a few weeks. 💙❤️

The full video will also show the tile painting Pietro and I made together, which was bought for his dear wife, Kathryn, who treasures his final painting. A very special piece of his legacy. ❤️
