Rediscovered in the house archive and reimagined for slower autumn days. Newstead unfolds in Mulberries across lustrous cotton sateen, bringing a little history, and romance back into the bedroom.

There is something about Autumn that makes a home feel more intimate. The curtains draw a little earlier, mornings begin slowly, and the bed becomes a place to linger just a little longer.

Newstead brings that feeling to life through a design faithfully reimagined from a rare historic pattern from the house. Delicate mulberries unfold across the surface in an intricate, time-honoured rhythm, while the reverse reveals a deeper-toned interpretation of the same botanical story. Printed on smooth, lustrous cotton sateen, it carries the quiet richness of something discovered rather than designed anew.

Layer it generously, let the patterns meet, and allow the softer details of winter to take over. Newstead is a study in warmth, nostalgia and the beauty of settling in.

There is a certain poetry in the making of a collection. In ideas taking shape slowly, by hand, and finding their way from the past into the present.

For Autumn–Winter, we looked to the beauty of the English countryside: wildflowers gathered in bloom and botanical studies rendered by hand.

Each motif began as an exploration — painted, observed and reimagined — before finding its place across fabric. While a palette of deep indigos, madder reds and warm, earthy clays echoes the natural pigments of another time.
