A refined, seamless finish for a penthouse refurbishment in Kensington, London.

This project saw Kerakoll Wallcrete in WR01 applied throughout the master bathroom, guest bathroom, downstairs WC, and a feature media wall, creating a calm, cohesive and luxurious feel across all spaces.

Wallcrete’s soft texture and subtle tonal variation make it ideal for high-end residential interiors, delivering a surface that feels both refined and timeless while remaining practical for everyday use.

It was an absolute pleasure working closely with the brilliant team at Famella, whose attention to detail and collaborative approach helped ensure the finished result met the highest expectations throughout.

Case Study | Bespoke Ardex Pandomo Reception Floor – Monster Energy HQ, Uxbridge

In July 2025, we were invited back to deliver the second phase of a bespoke Ardex Pandomo reception floor for Monster Energy at their West London headquarters in Uxbridge.

This installation mirrors an identical statement floor we completed in 2019 within the neighbouring building, continuing a design language that is bold, intentional, and unmistakably Monster.

The existing reception floor was finished with porcelain tiles, which were mechanically ground to create a strong mechanical key. An epoxy primer and Ardex Pandomo FAM mesh were applied to minimise the risk of reflective cracking and provide long-term stability.

The Ardex Pandomo Floor (K3) was then installed at an average thickness of 6–8mm, before being sanded, polished, and sealed to achieve a refined polished concrete aesthetic.

Once initially handed over, the project took a unique turn. Professional sponsored motorcycle riders were brought into the space to wheel-spin across the finished surface, deliberately marking the floor with tyre tracks. This transformed the reception into a one-off statement piece that captures the brand’s energy the moment you walk in.

We later returned to prepare the surface and apply a final protective sealer, permanently encapsulating the design within the floor.

The client and main contractor were extremely pleased with both the outcome and the professional delivery of the works — a project where technical precision and creative intent were equally important.

New Project Complete | Thorney Bay Pavilion, Canvey Island

We’re pleased to share the completion of a Magma Microcement flooring installation at the newly opened Thorney Bay Pavilion, a fantastic addition to the Canvey Island seafront.

This project formed part of a brand-new pavilion development overlooking Thorney Bay Beach. After an existing microcement floor failed to achieve the intended aesthetic, we were brought in to remove the original finish, prepare the screed, undertake crack repairs, and install a new Magma Microcement floor designed to closely mimic the look of traditional polished concrete.

The finished floor was inspected by the site team and architects and received excellent feedback for its depth, texture, and overall finish. The space has now been handed over and opened as a coffee shop, creating a welcoming new destination for locals and visitors alike.

Project Spotlight: Corques Liquid Lino at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford

We recently completed the installation of Corques Liquid Lino flooring at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford as part of a wider refurbishment of this busy public building.

Covering approximately 180m², the brief was to deliver a seamless, contemporary floor finish that offered comfort underfoot while standing up to the demands of high footfall. Careful preparation, moisture management, and disciplined sequencing were key to achieving the final result.

The finished floor delivers a refined, durable surface with subtle natural character well suited to a theatre environment where performance and aesthetics must work hand in hand.

Some years are better marked by gratitude than a summary - and this year has been one of growth and perspective for both myself and the business.

Before we sign off, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To the architects, designers and consultants who continue to place their trust in The Resin Floor Co. - thank you for believing in our approach and bringing us into your projects. Your confidence genuinely means a great deal.

To the contractors, installers and site teams who graft day in, day out - the standard we’re known for wouldn’t exist without your skill, care and pride in the work. What we deliver on-site is a direct reflection of you.

To our suppliers and partners - thank you for your consistency, professionalism and support throughout the year. We value those relationships highly.

And to our clients - thank you for inviting us into your homes, buildings and spaces. Many projects were delivered right up against the end of the year, and your trust and understanding were never overlooked. It’s a privilege to create finishes that become part of how you live and work.

This year has been a reminder that progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s about steady decisions, doing the right thing, and keeping standards high.

Looking ahead, 2026 feels positive and grounded. Our focus remains on quality, integrity, and supporting the people within our industry.

Wishing you a peaceful festive season, however you choose to spend it.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

South East London - full Microcement reinstatement

This was an interesting project following a failed microcement finish by others.

We firstly removed the previous system by use of vacuum, assisted diamond grinding equipment, prepared the substrate and applied a 2–3 mm Magma Microcement finish to recreate the look of natural polished concrete.

The result is a seamless, low-maintenance floor with the visual depth of polished concrete but the minimal build-up required for modern refurbishments.

Ten years after our original installation, this stunning resin floor was ready for a refresh - and we were delighted to bring it back to life.

Over a three-day process, our team carried out:
• Minor surface repairs and touch-ups
• Two pigmented colour coats in RAL 7035
• A satin sealer for a sleek, durable finish

The result? A floor that looks and performs as good as new - seamlessly refined, beautifully consistent, and built to last another decade.

Location: Private Residence (Knightsbridge)
Finish: RAL 7035 Satin
Duration: 3 Days

We loved working on this Notting Hill flat with our friends at Ask Interiors.

Our team installed a seamless resin finish throughout the main living areas to create a calm, spacious floor that sits quietly with the interiors.

The chosen colour used was NCS 1000-N, giving a bright, neutral base, assisting the room to feel modern, larger, and more open.

What we did:
• Full substrate preparation and neat transitions to existing thresholds and joinery
• Seamless resin across living and circulation areas for minimal joints and easy cleaning
• Full sealing and handover with maintenance guidance to keep the finish looking its best.

If you’d like a seamless resin floor in your home, drop us a DM or click the link in our bio for a quote.
