Went on a lovely road-trip today, as Hubby had watched something about Ring-necked Parakeets establishing a presence in a Park in Solihull and he wanted to try and see them!

Sadly, no parakeets today, but Elmdon Park was absolutely beautiful and these gorgeous swans with their cygnets were sunning themselves by the lake. Aren't they beautiful? 😍👍❤️

I wasn't 100% happy with my recent unicorn drawing, so I went back to the drawing board (literally 🤣) and started again ...

If you didn't already know, I volunteer at my Church's Community Café periodically, which involves baking lots of goodies and manning the Café on a Thursday morning ❤️ It's a lovely way to serve the community....and also a really good excuse to make (and sample 😋) cakes!

Cheese and bacon muffins are done, chocolate crunch is chilling in the fridge, coffee caramel sponge is cooling on the rack and carrot cake is in the oven! Phew! Mountains of washing up, but nearly there now 😀👍💖

Spotted whilst on Grandparent duty with Granddaughter No.2 - unfortunately, an act of vandalism, but the shattered store window seemed to have created such an organic shape, Hubby couldn't resist capturing it. Out of violence came beauty 😢❤️
