We will be making two appearances this November - tomorrow (15th) at Riverbourne in Chertsey from 9am and next Saturday, 23rd at Ottershaw Village Hall in Ottershaw (our third time!).

We’ve got some new knitted and crocheted bits (catering for this artic weather 😉) and some old Christmas favourites so pop down and say hello, while supporting these great causes!

Remember my assistant/buffet procurer/rant manager Emma? Well she’s been coming to the Monday Wine & Stitch at the Coach & Horses, Chertsey, and having just completed week 4, she’s BORDERING GRANNY SQUARES - she’s made 14!

She came to the group having dabbled last year but now she’s off and running, and crochets during the week too.

Apparently the plan for these squares are that they are going to be a blanket, but she’s already bought wool for her next project… 🫠🫨 and survived an Aldi wool sale.

Craft club is going swimmingly at the Coach & Horses… our beginners are now mastering granny squares… Mary learnt how use her pom pom maker and Beth has been doing knitting in her spare time 🥰

As of February 5th and every Monday, The lovely landlady Bev has kindly let us set up in the Coach & Horses, Chertsey pub in Chertsey for our new craft group!

Bring any craft you’re working on that’s portable - we couldn’t squeeze them all on - colouring, felting, just a couple of things that didn’t make the list - let’s see what each other are making and maybe learn something new!

…and if you don’t currently have a craft - why not come and learn. Or just come for the wine… who’s in?
