A sofa designed around the way you actually live.
Meet Vesta by Furninova, one of the latest arrivals to our Chester showroom.

With its generous proportions, deeper seat and beautifully simple form, it manages to feel relaxed and inviting without losing that considered, structured look.

But what we particularly like about Vesta is just how flexible it can be.

It’s a modular design, which means we can help configure it around your room rather than expecting your room to work around the sofa.

A generous corner arrangement. An open lounging space. Something more compact. Different seat options. Even a folding backrest that lets you switch to a softer, more reclined position when it’s time to properly settle in.

And, of course, there’s a huge choice of fabrics and finishes to make it your own.
The version you see in our showroom is simply one possibility.

Come in, take a seat and let’s explore what yours could look like.

Some projects start with an empty room. This one started before there were rooms at all.

We’ve been involved with this North Wales new-build from the early stages, working alongside the wider project team and our clients to consider how the interiors would eventually look, feel and function.

Because when you’re creating an entire home, the best time to think about furniture, cabinetry, storage and how you’ll actually use each space isn’t necessarily once the building work is finished.

Fast forward to now and things are looking very different.

Our team has been back on site installing cabinetry, and we’re getting much closer to the exciting stage where the furnishings start going in and all those early conversations begin to come together.
We’re not architects or builders. We work alongside them, bringing the interior perspective to the project and helping our clients think ahead to the home they’ll eventually live in.

From one awkward corner that needs solving to an entire new-build home, no project is too big or too small.

And if you’re planning something on this scale, you don’t have to wait until the walls are painted to start talking to us.

You might come in looking for a sofa… and leave thinking about something completely different.

That’s part of the fun of exploring our showroom.

Across our room sets you’ll find furniture, lighting, accessories and those finishing touches that can completely change the feel of a space.

There are pieces for living rooms and dining rooms, bedrooms and home offices. Statement designs that immediately grab your attention, alongside quieter pieces that simply make a room work better.

And because we work with such a wide range of designers and collections, there’s plenty to explore when it comes to sizes, configurations, fabrics, finishes and materials too.

You don’t need to arrive with a shopping list.

Come for a wander. Sit on the sofas. Open the cabinets. Look through the samples. Switch on the lights.

You might just find the piece you didn’t know your home was missing.

Kristina’s research took her a little further afield this week… all the way to Spain. 🇪🇸

She was invited to visit the Porcelanosa Group headquarters in Castellón, spending time exploring the latest products, materials, finishes and ideas coming through the interiors world.

And for us, trips like this are about much more than seeing what’s new.

When we’re designing an interior, we’re not limited to what you see on the Chattels showroom floor.

If your project needs a particular finish, material or product, we’ll explore the options and help find what feels right for the space. Sometimes that comes from one of the brands we work with every day. Sometimes it means looking a little further afield.

It’s why we’re always learning, visiting, sourcing and keeping an eye on what’s happening across the industry.

Because ultimately, our job isn’t to make your home fit around what we sell.

It’s to help create an interior that fits you.

We spend around a third of our lives asleep. So perhaps our bedrooms deserve a little more attention.

It’s easy to think of Chattels for sofas, dining furniture and statement pieces, but we can help with the bedroom too.

Yesterday, Sonia was working through finishes for a client specifying a Cattelan Italia Nelson bed, alongside a computer render to help visualise how the finished bedroom could come together.

And that’s where it gets interesting.

The bed might be the starting point, but from there we can explore finishes, bedside furniture, lighting, storage and all those details that turn somewhere you sleep into a room you genuinely love spending time in.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want, either. Bring us your room, your ideas or even just a starting point, and we can explore the possibilities together.

After all, if we’re going to spend that much of our lives in our bedrooms, we might as well make them beautiful.

This is where it starts to feel real.

You’ve talked about the space, shared ideas and told us what you’d like to achieve. Then comes one of our favourite parts: sitting down together and exploring what it could actually become.

Drawings and renders help bring the ideas to life, while samples, finishes, fabrics and mood boards give you something tangible to see, touch and compare.

And nothing is simply presented as a finished decision.

This is the point where we talk it through together. What do you love? What would you change? Which combination feels right? Where might we try something different?

For us, it’s an exciting part of the design process. But we think it should be just as exciting for you too.

Whether we’re working on one area or a much bigger scheme, our job is to take all those possibilities, narrow them down and help you create something that feels completely right for your home.

Have a project in mind? Come and start the conversation.

Beautiful furniture. None of the flat-pack frustration.

One of the nice things about shopping with Chattels is that once you’ve chosen the furniture, you don’t have to worry about what happens next.

Our team can deliver your pieces, bring them into your home, assemble and install where required, position everything where it needs to go and take away the packaging afterwards.

No instruction manuals spread across the floor.

No hunting around for the right tools.

And no mountain of cardboard boxes left for you to deal with.

It’s all part of making the experience as easy as possible, from choosing the right piece in the showroom to seeing it exactly where it belongs in your home.

You choose it. We’ll take care of the rest.
