And that’s a wrap. Today I close the door on the Wool Den’s first adventure. It’s been a rollercoaster over the first 4 and a half years of owning my yarn shop but happy to report many more up’s than ‘downs. I have met so many fabulous people and I can honestly say many customers have become true friends.
It would not have been at all possible without the help and support of my amazingly supportive husband Dave who may roll his eyes at me frequently but generally lets me getting on with and helps me with my mad ideas (we will have the Alpaca’s one day). Thanks to all the staff, Heather, Steph, Kayleigh, Evan, Esme, Lucie, Louise and Isabel. You have helped the Wool Den build to where it is and I wouldn’t be able to take this next step without you lot. To the fabulous and talented teachers who have worked hard to put on creative workshops. To my besties Lou, Mel and Nic who keep me sane (well kind of) I’d be lost without you. Thanks also to Yorkshire Wildlife Park for firstly giving me a job when my midlife crisis made me give up my career after feeding a Tiger and then trusting me to set up the Wool Den and be part of the Hive.
Most of all thank you to everyone single person who has visited, purchased, made positive comments and squished yarn with me, your support really does mean the world to me so thank you. Now onto the next chapter, Li x
