Thanks to a Project Viability Grant from The Architectural Heritage Fund, we begin the first stage of our Feasibility Study today with a 3D modelling survey being undertaken by Greenhatch Group before Haxton Koyander Architecture Ltd begin their work later in the month.

It has been our absolute pleasure to work with The Cavendish Hotel Baslow, Devonshire Group Hotels & Inns on the design, build, and interior design of their stunning new Garden Room and outdoor terrace.

We have been fortunate enough to see behind the scenes at Wentworth Woodhouse during its restoration and we can highly recommend it. Especially as Donald Insall Associates themselves are conducting the tour. 🏦

WENTWORTH WOODHOUSE ARCHITECT TOUR!

This is a rare opportunity to join the lead architect to the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust and Director of Donald Insall Associates, Dorian Proudfoot, on a tour showcasing some behind-the-scenes views of the work they have been doing in the House. See areas of the House not currently open to the public, including the Cellars and South Pavilion, before finishing with wonderful scenic views from the roof.

Wednesday 23rd & Wednesday 30th August, 2.00pm

Adult: £48.00

Please dress appropriately, there will be areas of low lighting, low ceilings, uneven surfaces, and stairs. The roof area is accessed via an inside ladder.

Accessibility - Due to the age and nature of the house, there is no disabled access to the upper floors which include the venue for part of this tour.

This tour is part of Dame Julie Kenny's Master Cutlers Challenge 2023 and is to raise funds to support a wide range of people and communities to help enrich their lives with cultural activities at Wentworth Woodhouse.

Have your say on this exciting new development in Rotherham Town Centre, Rotherham near Forge Island.

Your feedback is welcome on the designs for Riverside Gardens, a new public space which will form a key gateway to the flagship Forge Island leisure development and wider town centre.

The scheme extends to Market Street and Domine Lane, with a prime focus on pedestrian access along and into Riverside Gardens. The introduction of additional green spaces and play, with connections to the river and nature are a major part of the vision for the town centre.

The proposals include landscaped terraces, accessible routes, natural play for children and new seating and dwell spaces.

The amazing Wentworth Woodhouse is used as a filming location for so many films and series including Saturday Night Takeaway just a few weeks ago, but we think this may be one of the best.
