On Thursday, we had the opening of Soft Power at D Contemporary, as well as the announcement of their 2026 Award winners.
I’m delighted to share that I have been selected as one of the finalists! As part of the award, the finalists will be featured in a group exhibition at the gallery’s Mayfair space in London next year.
I am incredibly excited to create something new and unique for the exhibition and can’t wait to see how the project develops.
A huge thank you to the jury for this recognition, and to D Contemporary, , and Leontia Gallery for their support and inspiring conversations on the evening.

Over the years, we have built several terraces and deckings throughout our steep garden. We have not quite finished them all the way to the top, but getting there!

Some of you may know that alongside embroidery, I also run a textile studio creating textile taxidermy pieces. Earlier this year, I completed a special project for , a beautifully restored Grade II listed manor hotel that has recently reopened after an incredible renovation.
I created a series of African-inspired textile heads to replace the original real animals, including this giant kudu. Downstairs, rich velvets and deep green walls create the cosiest sitting area, while upstairs the staircase leads you to my collection of animal heads.
