Where Cape Town meets coastal luxury. ✨

This renovation on one of Cape Town’s most beautiful golf estates was all about honouring the home’s location — we added the most incredible coffered ceilings and kept the dark wood accents — while layering in warmth, texture, and natural materials.

Woven rattan pendants, leather, jute, and travertine do all the talking here. By day, the light floods in. By night, it glows.

This is the kind of home you never want to leave. 🌅

The coffered ceiling at our Cape Town project is complete—and it’s transformed the space.

Adding warmth, texture and rhythm, it draws the eye upward and subtly elevates the ceiling height. In a large open-plan room with hard surfaces, it also helps soften sound—reducing echo and creating a calmer, more comfortable feel.

From flat and looming… to lifted and layered ✨

This ceiling transformation has completely changed the feel of this Cape Town home. What was once a relatively low, plain white expanse is now higher, more architectural and full of detail. The new coffered design adds depth, texture and interest — drawing your eye up and giving the entire space a sense of drama and sophistication.

Still a work in progress, but already such a difference. I can’t wait to share the finished result with you in April. Watch this space 🤍

From flat and looming… to lifted and layered ✨

I love this time of year when the garden begins to wake from its wintery slumber.
Almost daily changes are evident in little buds and bulbs peeking out of the ground.
The bad news is that last year the bunnies got my bulbs, so I dug a bunch of them out and have kept them in pots - now they are looking gorgeous around the garden, inviting us out.. those Hyacinths are so dreamy, I just love their scent.
