Hello September 🍁🥮

September is my favourite month 😍 It’s mine and Autumns birthday this month and it’s officially the beginning of Autumn. I am sooo here for the cosy nights by the fire, the crisp cooler walks, the pumpkins, the baking, the autumn home decor, the candles. 🕯️ You cannot tell me different 🤣

Some of the Autumn decor made it out today, but I’m holding off until the weekend to get my whole box out 🤣

A little haul from my impromptu trip to today 😍🍁

So, I’m a bit gutted as I SWEAR I picked up way more then this and definitely think Dan put some back 🤣😬 but here is a few goodies I bought at such a bargain price, plus a shower caddy we bought which was only £12 and it’s huge!!! So had to add that in there 🤣

I’m not styling the house for Autumn just yet, so this will be tucked away for a few weeks until I’m ready for it to all come out, however with this rainy weather I may have to light some of the tea light candles 🤣🍁

Some amazing Autumn decor finds in this week 😍

I haven’t been to Homesense for a mooch on my own in what feels like a year and let me tell you, it was like therapy 🧘🏼‍♀️

They had SO many beautiful Autumnal decor bits, pieces for Halloween and the most incredible smelling candles 😍 If I had the money right now, I could have easily spent a fortune 🤣🫣

We often forget how lucky we are with what we’ve got and how far we’ve come, and I want this to be a reminder to everyone just how much things can change in the space of a couple of years.

It’s been a while since I talked in depth about any of my history, and for security reasons I can’t right now, but what I can say is: I genuinely never thought I would get out and live the life I’ve dreamt of, and here I am, dancing with my miserable cat in the kitchen that I would have dreamt of for years.

Hindsight and being able to look back is such a powerful thing, so take a minute to look at your life now and how far you’ve come ❤️

Did you know that “free” gifted items to a Content Creator isn’t totally free?

I get why people look at it as that, but I’m sick of being called “lucky” when there is SO much hard work that goes into it. For the last few years, I have been working all hours under the sun on this account around my day job and being a mum of two. Yes ive got some beaaaautiful items that I wouldn’t have been able to afford to buy full price, but it certainly wasn’t free.

Many of us Creators can no longer accept the “gifted” items because essentially we’re paying to do the work for brands, and yes it’s maybe not the full amount we would pay for the item/s, but the time put into it along with the tax implications is just crazy.

If you’re a Creator, what are your views on this? If you’re not, did you know that “gifted” items aren’t totally free?”

It was a daunting decision decorating the downstairs loo in darker colours with a bougie wallpaper but it was the best decision with zero regrets! 😍

I’ve always been a neutral girly but fancied something different for the downstairs loo that just makes people say “wow”.
