🌸 A New Chapter with Love & Gratitude 🌸
Eight years ago, I started my business with nothing but passion and determination. What a journey it has been! I’ve loved every moment—creating beautiful florals that brought my couples’ dreams to life and being part of so many special memories. I’ll forever cherish the weddings, the bouquets, and the joy of seeing it all come together.
But over the past year, I realised I wasn’t coping. With Sam away so much for work, balancing motherhood with Evie and Kit, and the demands of my business, I became mentally and physically burnt out. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but I knew I needed to prioritise my own wellbeing and my family. My incredible kids and husband deserve the best of me, not what’s left of me.
Sam has been my biggest cheerleader from the very beginning—supporting me through every high and low, reminding me of my strength, and always encouraging me to follow my passion. Even with his demanding job, he’s been my rock, and I’m so grateful for his love and support, especially in helping me make this tough decision.
Saying goodbye to my business hasn’t been easy, but I know it’s the right choice. Mental health matters, and it’s okay to admit when you need to step back. Life is precious, fleeting, and far too short to not take care of yourself and those you love.
To my wonderful clients, friends, and the inspiring suppliers I’ve had the privilege of working with over the years—thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your special moments, for collaborating on incredible projects, and for supporting me every step of the way. This isn’t goodbye to flowers—it’s hello to health, family, and a fresh start.
Here’s to new beginnings, blooming in a different way. 💐
With all my love,
Lucy
