🍂 A little autumnal splendour at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens🍂

In the beautiful surroundings of the Georgian parlour at Ushaw House, this abundant floral arrangement takes centre stage in an autumnal tablescape inspired by the romance and grandeur of another era.

A celebration of the season, with richly coloured garden style roses, trailing amaranthus, delicate branches with autumn foliage, berries and seasonal fruit, all gathered together in an elegant urn. The arrangement brings a sense of romantic, old-world elegance to the room.

Inspired by the abundance of the autumn harvest and the timeless beauty of an English country house, it’s all about embracing nature, texture, colour and a little theatrical extravagance.

✨ A beautiful setting, breathtaking florals and a truly special occasion. ✨

This week I was delighted to bring a touch of floral magic to the magnificent Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens, County Durham. 🌿

For this special occasion, I had the pleasure of collaborating with talented florist Chris Darke, creating a collection of beautiful floral arrangements to complement the grandeur, history and character of this wonderful venue.

From statement displays to the finer floral details, every arrangement was thoughtfully created to enhance the surroundings and create something truly memorable. 🌸

It was an absolute pleasure to work together on this special installation. A wonderful coming together of creativity, flowers and shared passion.

🌹✨ A little sneak peek… ✨🌹

I couldn’t resist sharing a glimpse of some of the most beautiful roses featured in a very special installation I’ve been working on. 💕

Just look at those incredible ripples and ruffles in the petals, and those unusually beautiful colours — the most gorgeous blend of warm apricot, soft peach and coral pink. Almost like silk, with every petal creating its own little wave. 🧡🩷

These roses are just a tiny taste of what’s to come… 👀 I’ll be revealing the full installation this weekend, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!

The colours have been carefully chosen to complement the stunning surroundings while also bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside. 🌿🎨

A design that feels at home in this beautiful setting, celebrating the architecture, colour and character of the chapel and the season 🍂
