Two kitchens can share the same architectural language, similar proportions and an equally beautiful palette of materials.

Yet one can feel entirely its own.

Often, that distinction lies in the details.

THE LANGLEY / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Beneath the historic Langley estate lies an extensive subterranean spa, conceived as an integral part of the hotel’s architecture.

For The Langley, Siminetti mother of pearl was specified throughout the wellness environment, with Midnight Pearl, Gentle Earth and Anthracite used across a series of distinct applications.

From the spa’s sculptural heated loungers to its pools, wet areas and architectural alcoves, the material becomes part of the wider composition rather than a decorative addition.

A project that demonstrates the breadth with which mother of pearl can be developed for highly individual hospitality interiors.

RENAISSANCE / 112M Superyacht

Mother of Pearl commissions by Siminetti aboard Renaissance, the 112-metre superyacht designed by Bannenberg & Rowell and built by Freire Shipyard.

Natural Mother of Pearl was specified throughout the owner's private bathroom, while Jade was selected for the yacht's wellness interior.

Some surfaces finish a pool. Others define how it feels.

Siminetti mother of pearl is chosen when the brief calls for more than colour or pattern.

Under water, it responds continuously to light and movement. Tone shifts. Reflections change. Individual pieces reveal themselves differently throughout the day.

For architects and designers, that creates something difficult to reproduce with a conventional mosaic: a surface with its own presence.

Bespoke should not begin with a product.

It should begin with an idea.

At Siminetti, we work with architects and designers from that starting point, developing mother of pearl specifically for the commission rather than asking the commission to conform to something that already exists.

The result is not simply greater choice.
