Would you hide your washing machine behind curtains?
This was one of our favourite design decisions in this project.
Instead of exposing appliances, we softened the space with a bespoke floral fabric, creating a room that feels more like a beautifully furnished interior than a utility room.
Combined with painted cabinetry, brass detailing, natural stone flooring, the result is a practical space that doesn’t compromise on character.

The transformation of the Old Stone Garage into ’s new home at has been one of those projects that reminds us why we love working with old buildings.

From carefully removing and cleaning every original roof tile, to revealing the beautiful Cotswold stone hidden beneath years of wear, every decision has been about preserving character while creating a warm and practical space.

The addition of two roof lights from has completely changed the atmosphere inside, bringing in the most beautiful natural light throughout the day.

Not everything could be saved exactly as it was. One of the original timber beams had to be removed, but we’re determined to give it a second life somewhere within the yard, whether as a bench, shelf or worktop.

For us, the best transformations aren’t about replacing the past , they’re about celebrating it and allowing it to continue telling its story for years to come. đŸ€ŽđŸ€

More than a workspace. A community.

For the last few years, Groves Yard has been home to The Style Brush.

What started as a place to work quickly became so much more, a community of independent businesses, makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, all sharing this special corner of the Cotswolds.

From morning coffees to shared ideas and support, Groves Yard has reminded us that business is ultimately about people, relationships, and belonging.

Thank you to everyone who makes this place what it is. We’re proud to be part of it.

A contemporary country kitchen designed around natural light, texture and timeless materials.

Exposed oak beams, handcrafted cabinetry, Cotswold stone and generous roof glazing work together to create a space that feels both grounded and uplifting. The vaulted ceiling draws the eye upward while the connection to the garden blurs the boundary between inside and out.
A kitchen designed not just for cooking, but for gathering, living and slowing down.

CHESTERGATE ~ a new project in the heart of Milton-under-Wychwood, Cotswolds.
Recently purchased by a lovely family, the house already offered generous spaces and beautiful surroundings, but lacked a bit of warmth, character, and connection throughout. We were appointed to lead both the architectural and interior design of the project ; developing extensions, interior alterations, and a full design concept to completely reimagine the way the home feels and functions. Stay tuned for the updates!

Some kitchens are designed. Others are deeply felt.

For us at , warm oak kitchens have always held a special place in our design hearts; timeless, grounding and beautifully understated.

This London home, soon to begin its renovation journey, is a reflection of everything we love about traditional British craftsmanship and enduring interiors.

Soft neutral oak cabinetry, elegant brass ironmongery, beautiful unlacquered-style faucets, timeless limestone flooring, a classic range cooker, artisan detailing and layers of warmth designed to age gracefully for decades to come.

A space inspired by heritage, craftsmanship and quiet luxury, where every texture tells a story.

We often forget about the entrance hall
 don’t we?

Yet it’s the first “hello” from your home.
The place that welcomes you after a long day.
The first impression for friends walking through your door.
The beginning of your story.

And still
it’s usually the last space we think about.

For us, an entrance hall should be practical; but also joyful. 🩆 Because when it’s beautiful, it quietly makes you happy every time you come home. And honestly, who doesn’t want that?

If you’re lucky enough to have the space, we love a round table as the focal point. An antique one, even better! 😉 A spot for seasonal flowers, favourite pots, a few beautiful books
a bowl from a trip, a key tray (because we all lose them), and of course a candle. So the scent of your home greets you before anything else.

Add a small bench or settee, somewhere to pause, put on shoes, or wait for someone before heading out together.

Wall lights are a must (the big light rarely makes an appearance here). Then layer the walls: panelling, collected artwork, prints that make you smile. Add a rug for warmth, and suddenly
it’s not just a hallway anymore.

If you have an entrance hall, celebrate it.
If you don’t, create one. Even a small corner can change how your home feels.

We’re always here if you’d like help creating your own welcome homeđŸ€
