Job Title: Fitter’s Mate
Location: Ongar, Essex
Company: Oakland Home Improvements

Oakland Home Improvements are a trusted local business based in Ongar, specialising in high-quality double glazing, doors, and home improvements. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Fitter’s Mate to join our team and support our experienced installers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting fitters with the installation of windows, doors, and other home improvement products
-Handling tools, materials, and general site preparation
-Ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard with attention to detail
-Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements:
-Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
-Driver preferred (full UK licence)
-Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

Pay: Rate dependent on experience

Hello December 🎅🏻

& what a great way to start the month. We supplied and installed windows and patio doors for a customer in Chelmsford.

The customer asked for built in blinds to both the windows and doors, a great addition to help keep the warmth in and the sun out (when we actually get some sun 🌞)!

Not only is the door modern and stylish but it’s also much safer then their original door 👏 it’s also great for energy consumption as they no longer lose heat through their old style door 🔋

Last week we completed these vertical sliding windows for a customer in Ongar 🪟🤩

The windows are A rated, wood grain effect. Maintaining the traditional feel of the house without compromising on the efficiency of the windows. We love them 😍 and what makes them even better is they may look like wood but have the benefit of being low maintenance ✅
