A design that works beautifully, wherever the day takes you. 🤍

For R & N’s September wedding at Ivy Lodge, we opted for our ceramic urns and plinths, styled with seasonal flowers and plenty of natural movement.

This wasn’t our original design direction, but with a September wedding, we knew we needed something versatile enough to work both indoors and out, without compromising on impact.

And we think we got it just right.

Framing the entrance beautifully for the ceremony, these pieces were then carefully moved into the banquet hall, giving them a second moment to shine and ensuring the flowers could be enjoyed throughout the celebrations.

Because the best designs aren’t just beautiful in one setting; they work with the day as it unfolds.

Did we make the right decision? We think so. ✨

Yesterday’s weather was absolute perfection for R & N’s beautiful wedding at Ivy Lodge

With its sweeping countryside views and timeless Cotswold setting, Ivy Lodge is truly made for an outdoor ceremony.

For R & N, we kept the floral styling soft and effortlessly romantic, dressing the balcony with abundant meadow-style arrangements in a palette of delicate, muted pastels.

Designed to soften the architecture, frame the ceremony and complement the landscape beyond — without ever taking away from it.

White meadows with hydrangeas, roses and gypsophelia to frame the aisle at Old Gore by Yard Space today for E & M.

We hope they’ve had the most beautiful day. E asked for a white hydrangea bridal bouquet which I know will just look so elegant in her hand as she walks down this aisle!

One week to go until we get the keys to our very own little studio. 💐

It’s hard to believe we’re almost there.

The last few months have been busy — and if I’m being completely honest, at times, pretty hectic and stressful too. We’ve had delays with the building works, we still don’t have any glass in the doors or windows, there are a few cracks here and there, and there always seems to be another little thing to sort out.

Alongside all of that, I’ve been juggling the farm consultancy work, running Rosie’s Posies, growing flowers, planning weddings and trying to get everything ready for the studio opening.

And somewhere amongst all the lists, deadlines and jobs that need doing, I’ve had to remind myself that work isn’t everything.

I’m learning that building a business also means making time for a life outside of it — looking after myself, keeping healthy, getting out for walks with the dogs, spending time with my partner, seeing friends and simply having a little time where I’m not thinking about the next thing on the to-do list.

It’s definitely a work in progress… and I’m not always very good at switching off! 😂

But despite the chaos, the stress, the delays and the very long to-do list, this little studio is still a dream come true.

And to be doing it alongside Mum makes it even more special. 🤍

🥂💐Here’s to the next chapter of Rosie’s Posies. 🍾

Behind the Scenes: Creating a Garden-Inspired Broken Arch 🌿

One of the things we loved most about this installation was that the customer already had this beautiful wrought iron arch in their garden. Rather than covering it completely, they wanted it to remain a feature, so we designed the florals to complement it instead.

The broken arch design is perfect for this. By concentrating the flowers asymmetrically, the character of the ironwork still shines through while the flowers create a beautifully romantic frame for the ceremony.

A little peek behind the scenes…

✨ The baskets at the base aren’t just for looks. They add texture, help anchor the design and, most importantly on a hot summer’s day, they’re brilliant for hiding water supplies to keep the flowers fresh.

💧 Throughout the arch we’ve hidden water-filled vessel cones, ensuring every stem has access to water from the moment it’s installed until the end of the ceremony.

🌿 To build the design, we attached chicken wire to the frame, giving us a natural structure to weave foliage through and securely support every stem without the need for floral foam.

For foliage we chose a soft, textural mix of silver birch, pistachio and ruscus to create movement and depth.

The flowers were inspired by an English country garden, featuring elegant delphiniums, beautiful Annabelle’s sculptural alliums, teasels, delicate scabious and airy cosmos. The result is something that feels wild, abundant and as though it has naturally grown into its surroundings.

It’s these hidden mechanics that make floral installations look effortless. The best designs aren’t just beautiful—they’re carefully engineered to stay fresh, secure and natural from the first guest to the last.

Some ceremony spaces don’t need transforming… they simply need enhancing. ✨

This garden-inspired broken arch was designed to feel as though it had always belonged here. Delicate seasonal blooms, flowing foliage and natural textures frame the aisle without taking away from the beauty of the surroundings.

We love creating florals that feel effortless, romantic and deeply connected to the landscape. No harsh lines, no symmetry—just flowers moving naturally with the garden.

If you’re dreaming of an outdoor ceremony that feels timeless, this is your sign to embrace nature and let the flowers do the talking. 🌿🤍

Planning your 2027 wedding? We’d love to create something completely bespoke for your day.
