✨ Project Complete – Gunfleet Developments ✨

Another stunning new build handed over for Gunfleet Developments.

For this project, we supplied and fitted beautiful J2flooring herringbone LVT, finished with a bespoke border detail incorporating a Gold Design feature strip and premium gold trims for a truly luxurious finish.

Throughout the property, we also supplied and installed Elegance carpets from Furlong Flooring, creating a seamless blend of style, comfort and quality.

As with every installation, no corners were cut. We carried out all necessary subfloor preparation works to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish from the ground up.

The attention to detail on this one speaks for itself — no expense spared, just quality craftsmanship and premium materials throughout.

Subfloor preparation done properly 👇

Before any luxury floor finish goes down, the groundwork has to be right.

On this project we carried out full moisture testing to the new build subfloor prior to installation. New builds often retain a significant amount of residual moisture — and skipping this step can lead to failed bonding, emulsified adhesive failure, lifting tiles, and costly call-backs.

After testing, we applied Ardex MVS moisture suppression vapour barrier to control residual moisture and create a stable, protected base.

Once cured, we followed with Ardex CL smoothing compound to achieve a perfect smooth surface — ready for our LVT installation.

Preparation isn’t the exciting part clients see…
But it’s the part that determines whether a floor still looks perfect in many years’ time.
