Good morning,

Our friend Scott is being laid to rest today followed by a celebration of life.

The box will be closed until Wednesday

To honour Scott and to fulfil his dream of refurbishing The Red Lion in St.Osyth we have put his favourite Breakfast “The Big Scotty” on our menu. £5 of each sale is donated towards getting Scotts Pub finished.

- His Favourite Breakfast and Forever Part of The Box - we will miss you Scott ### N&J ###

Scott ALWAYS repeatedly shouted “Here we go!” when it came to pay. Probably because how crap we are in adding up in our head!

Hello! We do still exist! It’s been one busy summer believe us! We are one week away of finishing our 6 week summer contract providing hot lunches to up to 4 locations across Colchester & Clacton. This has taken up the majority of our time as well as the events we were asked to cater for & business lunch and buffet deliveries.

We will open our doors 7.9.2026 with our new menu, little spruce up around the cafe and garden, relief that our children are finally back at school & a feeling of “normality” (does it exist ???) and structure (Nicole & me ? Normal , structure? Who are we kidding) .

It will happen for around a week and after that you will sense it ebbing away from us .

We thank you all! Ciao ciao for now - we will see you in September !
