The Orchard Cottage

A good old-fashioned utility, with all the charm.

The lovely people behind this home wanted a working space with butler sink, big enough for muddy boots and muddy paws.

We had such a lovely time bringing this one together, and we think it’s turned out rather nicely.

The kitchen is just as cosy, so keep an eye out for that one soon 🤎

Notes from the Journal ☕

A few thoughts from us on the rooms we make, the details we notice and what makes a house feel like home.

Something to read when you have a quiet five minutes and a cup of tea.

Proof that you don’t need heaps of space to fit in the good bits 🤍

• Worktop breakfast cupboard
• Deep butler sink
• Basket storage for eggs and vegetables
• Bertazzoni range oven
• Cooks shelves
• A lotta love

A proper country kitchen, with old beams overhead, a big oak-topped island in the middle and a rather lovely dresser for the bowls, jugs and everyday pieces you actually want to have on show.

Nothing too precious, nothing too perfect. Just a warm, welcoming kitchen that feels very much at home in this old house.
