A proper country kitchen, with old beams overhead, a big oak-topped island in the middle and a rather lovely dresser for the bowls, jugs and everyday pieces you actually want to have on show.

A well-stocked pantry, shelves for favourite crockery, drawers that hold everything just where it should be. They're the parts you live with every day, even if they're not the first things people notice.
