Cinnamon Cardigan by nearly finished. Cosy Sunday morning crochet. This yarn is a dream to work with chunky merino tweed I think I’m going to enjoy wearing this it has those great little pops of colours green blue ochre and deep red lots of styling options.

So January has been and nearly gone.
My Absolute Beginners Crochet Class of 2025, have completed the course and will be starting the beginners course next month, expanding their knowledge and learnt skills.
I am now offering 1 to 1 classes which can be at a negotiated venue to suit. I will need an up front non refundable deposit and full payment at the end of the first class. All learners are given a set of hooks and yarn samples to keep, along with written instructions and the opportunity to join the WhatsApp group. If you are interested in joining the ladies of the beginners group there are 2 spaces available.

I will be open tomorrow. For all you sewers I have topped up the vintage patterns and new patterns. Offering 10% off last two Saturdays of January.

This chilly weather reminds me of sound of Music, Tyrolean style, embroidery and all things Nordic. The scarf is something I designed for many moons ago it was a joy to make and I must whip up another one. I will be making the pattern available in the shop. Waistcoat pattern is also available I’m currently working on a version in felt which I will try to embroider, I’m thinking those buttons might make a quirky addition to it? Anyway open today from 10 till 2pm. Absolute Beginners Crochet 2026 is starting on the 28th January places are available.
