A beautiful Victorian window deserves a truly special finish 💜

For this project, our customer chose their own stunning Morris fabric, which we transformed into elegant floor-length bespoke curtains and a perfectly coordinated pelmet.

Attention to detail was everything. The pelmet was carefully designed and crafted so that every pinch pleat aligned with the same pattern, creating a beautifully balanced and symmetrical finish. The curtains were also blackout lined to provide both practicality and luxury, exactly as requested.

The end result is simply stunning, enhancing the character of this beautiful Victorian home while showcasing the timeless beauty of the fabric.

Our customer was absolutely delighted with the finished window dressing and we were thrilled to be invited back to create another bespoke Inches transformation elsewhere in their home.

Beautiful interiors begin with the right combination of fabric, colour and expert guidance ✨

For this stunning project, our customers chose the elegant Ashley Wilde Shiloh Coral fabric for their bespoke curtains, perfectly complemented by luxurious Oatmeal Crushed Velvet used to create the coordinating window seat and curtain trim.

From exploring fabric options and borrowing samples to final measurements, fitting and installation, we worked closely with Ian and Catherine to ensure every detail was just right.

🏍️ Haberdashery Bikers in Town! 🧵

Well, this wasn't something we expected to see outside Inches this week... 😄

A group of Harley-Davidson bikers pulled up outside the shop and, for a moment, we wondered what had brought them to our little corner of Yorkshire.

You could have blown us over with a feather when they came through the door asking for... buttons and cottons! 🪡🧵

Our unexpected visitors were travelling all the way from Sweden and making their way to Northern Ireland, with a quick stop at Inches to stock up on a few essential supplies before continuing their adventure.

It just goes to show, you never know who might walk through our door or what they might be looking for! 😆
