Happiest when in a jumpsuit (pink and pockets obvs) , painting my heart out. I’ve always wanted to be a bit fluid , and so painting this wall mural for a client has been the dream. Well, actually , I was nervous as hell , but we can talk about that later.

Re-sharing this , as I’m back working for the same lovely client , in their new home (how lucky am I!) .

I wanted to re-share and show the difference using clever tonal colours works for this room - plus it was one of the houses I had a large involvement in, that sold pretty quickly after going on the market .

Currently the market can be quite busy with newer homes, lacking period features which can be a real selling point . This is where I can come in and give you ideas to elevate your room , using budget friendly ideas .

Welcome to Gemma Blake Studio. I am an interior designer, stylist, artist, mural painter and general interior and style obsessive.

I thought it was time to do a little re-introduction - as I’ve started to get lots of enquiries about how to work with me (and you’re all keeping me busy , which is amazing ✨✨✨✨)

I founded Gemma Blake Studio , to follow what I live and breathe; homes, interiors and my painting and art obsession. It is forever evolving which is great , but also means I need to let you know what I can actually do for you !

💫 Colour consultations - it’s a large paint world out there and I can pull together a scheme for you that will suit your space and lifestyle
💫 layout planning - perhaps you just need some advice on where to lay things out or what will fit the space well
💫 Just styling advice for a specific space - do you have some shelves you just can’t get right ? I’m your gal.
💫 Seasonal decor planning and ex*****on (eg. Need your mantle or table scape planning and doing for Christmas ?!) - I have adooooored doing this recently - and you will see many more options for this coming soon 👀
💫 passing on my discount where possible - I have started to accumulate some GORGEOUS businesses both local and national , that allow me a discount , which I always pass on to you

Today I made a massive bow out of old coffee sacks for 🎀🎀🎀☕️☕️☕️

It’s getting an immense amount of love on stories , so thought it deserved to be on the grid .

It’s part of a Christmas installation I’m doing for them , which will be super magical , and is an amazing place to go with kids - there is a whole play area and you can sit and have a coffee . I suggest you go if you’re local.

I love that I have a different day everyday with .

Also really really pleased to think about sustainable decor options too. The dream.

Did you know that I offered evening consultation appointments?

As well as trying to make my interior design and styling accessible financially for you all (hiring a designer doesn’t have to be extortionate) , I also want to make sure that I can fit into your normal life too.

I’m off to an evening appointment tonight , and it occurred to me I don’t think I really publicise it?!

Anyway . No project too small or big . Can also been done remotely .
