Did you know candles have a memory? 🩶
When you first light a candle, the wax melts and spreads out from the wick. The best thing you can do is keep your candle lit until the melted wax reaches the entire surface of the candle.
Why? Because the next time you light it, the candle will continue to melt evenly and fully down the jar.
If you blow it out too soon, the next burn will melt straight down from that point — causing the dreaded tunnelling you’ve probably seen before!
There are lots of factors that affect how a candle burns, but this is a really good habit to practice ✨
