Gavin responded to our initial enquiry straight away and met us to let us have a look around the immaculate showroom, and talked us through the various options and add ons. All the costs were completely transparent and very competitive. We took away some ideas, slept on it, and had our stove ordered and fit booked in by the following day. The fitters, John and Chris, were so tidy and efficient, and we are delighted with the finished product. Gavin was on hand to answer our questions throughout the whole process and completely trusted him with this investment in our home. Highly recommend.”

What Makes a Good Stove Installer? 🔥

Proper installation is the foundation of a safe and efficient wood-burning stove. The long-term performance of your logburner actually depends on how it’s fitted from day one because behind every well-performing stove is a carefully considered, compliant installation. 🔧

A good installer should:

✅ Be fully qualified and HETAS registered
✅ Understand flue design, ventilation and building regulations
✅ Calculate the correct heat output for your room
✅ Check clearances and safe distances properly
✅ Install and test your CO alarm
✅ Show you how to use your stove correctly before they leave

HETAS registration means the installer is recognised as competent to self-certify solid fuel installations, giving you peace of mind that the work complies with UK building regulations. 👨‍🔧
