Hello. The funeral service team are collecting food bank donations this winter. We're going to be donating to East Renfewshire Food Larder - a community led group and they deliver around 60 parcels a week to families in need. What's cool about them is their ethos is if you are in need and get in touch, they'll get a parcel to you by that Wed or Fri (so it's not a referral service).
The rising cost of living means that more people than ever are struggling this winter and many families will be relying on food banks to make ends meet.
Supporting the local community is at the heart of what we do. So, over the coming weeks, the Little’s team will be collecting donations for East Renfrewshire Larder. They deliver around 60 parcels each week to families in need and rely on the generosity of others to keep doing this important work.
Drop into our Muirend Branch on 316 Clarkston Road (anytime between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday), with donations of long-life food and/or toiletries. Please do share to help us spread the word. Thanks.
