Just letting you guys know that insurance backed guarantee from installsure is not worth having
Just been to see client to help with composite door repair nothing major but door was fitted 11 months ago company who installed it out of business

So client went to install sure to make a claim and was told that your claim under section 75 of the consumer credit act is and you paid by credit card or any loan is not covered until after 6 years
What a load of bo****ks so I got involved spoke to install sure to argue the client case and was told exactly the same

In the insurance details you are guaranteed but when making a claim in the info they send ( small print ) your have no cover

Go onto trust pilot or Google and see reviews of this money scamming company

How long do most companies warranty moving parts on doors and windows ie locks straps on doors, euro cylinder’s, friction stays and locking mech for windows

Upvc and d/g units is a standard 10 years not sure on the other, interested for your comments

In the last 13 years i have only fitted two 44mm single rebated composite doors due to there inferior to the above door

And now I have made a constructive decision to stop installing this inferior door style / type the 70mm double rebated composite door is like night and day and the amount of our client asking for this door to be installed on there new property is a testament to its self
