Numbers 0-9 on log slices! Perfect for Early years settings or teaching children at home.

As part of their Early Learning Goals in maths, EYFS children are expected to be able to recognise numerals up to 20. They should also be able to count beyond this as they get older.

These can be used to practice number recognition. Number sorting and matching numerals and quantity!

Colour box one inspired colour tablets

The main purpose of the Colour Box is to develop a child’s visual sense of colour.

Primary colours (Red, Yellow and Blue) are introduced in Colour Box 1, which is first presented to a child at 2.5 to 3 years of age. Colour Boxes 2 and 3 add more tablets to the mix, expanding a child’s colour knowledge.

The Colour Box is also gives children experience in matching, and develops the child’s fine motor skills through the use of the pincer grip.

Can be stored on a metal ring to ensure all parts are kept together when not in use.

For those of you wondering why is it important to teach children about life cycles… it’s a prompt for conversations around growth change and decay. And allows children the environment to ask questions and build on their understanding.
