Spring’s Gentle Reminder 🌿🐰✨

As the days grow warmer and new life begins to stir, spring reminds us that healing happens in its own time. Just like this little bunny, we, too, can step forward gently, embracing the light after seasons of darkness.

Grief and trauma may make us feel like winter will never end, but nature shows us otherwise, growth is always possible, even after the harshest storms.

May this season bring you moments of softness, renewal, and hope. You are worthy of new beginnings. 💛

On World Book Day it feels right to share this… 💕

I’m beginning a new chapter and stepping into the world of book illustration 📚✨

Stories have carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and now I want to help create stories that do the same for others.

Children’s books, illustrated books for adults, stories about hope, healing and wonder.

I’ll also be starting an illustration course very soon to deepen my skills and build my portfolio in this field, and I’m so excited for everything I’m about to learn.

If you’re an author (or dreaming of becoming one) and looking for an illustrator, I’d absolutely love to hear from you - please feel free to reach out 🤍

This is just the beginning, and I’m so grateful you’re here for the journey. 🥰

I had big plans for January, but sometimes your health has other ideas...

Here's to a healthier, happier February and the start of new things.

Sending love and hugs. 🤍

I’ve simplified my Patreon 💕

After listening to your feedback, I’ve moved to one clear, fuss-free tier - Creative Calm - for $5 a month.

No confusing options. No pressure.
Just a small monthly exchange of support, creativity, and calm.

If my art has ever brought you a moment of peace, you’re so welcome in this little community 🤍

I can’t thank you enough for your continued support, as most of you know the last year and a half has been so challenging, without support like this I wouldn’t be able to keep creating. 💕

🦔 Happy National Hedgehog Day 🦔

This is still one of my favourite paintings, I love hedgehogs.

May today be a reminder to move softly, protect your tenderness, and celebrate the magic of the tiny lives that share our world 🌿💛

If this hedgehog made you smile, leave a 🦔 in the comments - I’d love to know they’ve found a good home here.

This little mouse has been living quietly in my sketchbook for a while 🐭💛
Holding a light. Carrying gratitude. Passing it on.

“Thank you for bringing the light when I was in darkness.
Now I can bring it to others.”

This illustration is the first in a new series - one that’s guiding me toward greeting cards and my children’s book illustration portfolio. Gentle stories. Small creatures. Big feelings. Soft hope.

If this image speaks to you, you’re already part of its journey ✨

A huge heart felt journey to anyone that held space for me in the darkness, I have learnt that when we are held through darkness we don’t keep the light we carry it forward. 🤍

Flicking through old animal paintings today and feeling so much gratitude for how far I’ve come. 💕

Each one holds a version of me - learning, healing, experimenting, trusting my hands a little more each time.
Progress doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it quietly lives in sketchbooks, dusty folders, and artwork that once felt unfinished… until you look back and realise it carried you through.

A reminder to keep going, to honour your past creations, and to let them be proof that growth is happening - even on the days it feels slow 🤍

First we burn…
Then we rise. 🔥🕊️

This phoenix is for anyone who has walked through fire they didn’t choose.
For anyone who has lost, broken, unravelled, or been forced to become someone new.

Burning isn’t failure.
It’s the shedding.
The releasing.
The moment where what no longer fits is finally allowed to fall away.

And rising doesn’t mean you’re “over it”.
It means you’re still here.
Softer. Braver. Wiser.
Carrying your scars like wings.

If you’re in the ashes right now, please know this:
✨ the rise always comes.

Save this for the days you need reminding.
Share it with someone who’s finding their way back to themselves.
