It all began in 1981, when our founder, Pauline Nash, started a curtain and soft furnishing business from the comfort of her very own home. The business quickly garnered a reputation for creating beautifully crafted, bespoke soft furnishings and attracted an ever-growing queue of clients. Today, Calico Interiors works on both home and commercial projects all across the UK and resides at the rather
glorious Lambsquay House, a former hotel in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire - and Pauline has a little more help these days. With our own team of talented makers and upholsterers, soft furnishings are still at the core of our business, but we’ve come a long way since those early years. From furniture to flooring, and even that vase for the shelf, we have everything you need to create your perfect space. Whether it’s just a simple pair of curtains, a new sofa, or a much larger scale project - our Showroom and Design Studio is run by an experienced team of designers, who are there to help you create the interiors you dream of.
