Just a few ideas on how we managed to renovate and create our home on a budget.
I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to have a massive budget to create a beautiful home although I do wonder what I could have done with un limitless cash😂.
I think the biggest way to save is to try to do the work rather than get in tradespeople as this is where it can get expensive. I know it’d definitely not always possible but even doing things like painting or wallpapering can bring the costs down.

A visit to Wentworth Castle Gardens and Wentworth Garden Centre.

We joined the National Trust today so can’t wait to explore more beautiful places - is there anywhere you want would recommend?

I’ve accidentally sold my palm tree lamp🙈😂
If you remember, I put it up for sale about a month or so ago as we didn’t use it and I wanted to buy a sun lounger!
I then rearranged the living room and decided I liked it again so removed it from sale.
Anyway, I went on EBay last night for the first time in a while and had about 10 messages. I had forgotten to remove it from the listings and it had sold 6 days ago🙈🙈
Massive apologies to the buyer!
Still the right decision as, as much as I love it, it never gets used and we never have anywhere to put it when we have the Christmas Tree in the living room.
So, what do I do with the money? Buy the sun lounger or book a weekend away?!🤔😂
