Type A girls, I genuinely admire you 🥲

Unfortunately my brain operates on a combination of last minute panic, blind faith & whatever my current hyperfixation happens to be 😂

Please let me set the record straight that I HATE being late but time just slips away when I have somewhere to be, if it’s not in my calendar I won’t be there if it is in my calendar there’s an 80% chance I’ve got the time or date wrong 😭

Maybe it’s ADHD, maybe it’s just me somehow, we’re still getting by… Mostly ✨

My longest ultra marathon training run with my biggest baby (& quite possibly chattiest 🤣)

I definitely didn’t need headphones at any point 🗣️but is wouldn’t change it!

Tested my fuelling strategy & it went so well!

This filtered reality may make it SEEM normal but it’s not! Let’s bring back some reality ✨

Weekly hauls aren’t self care & social media is a mirage, yet we’re still comparing our real lives to someone else’s highlight reel 👀

You can manifest your dream life AND have a payslip & you can love your life and still find it bloody hard!!

Your kids don’t need a picture-perfect mum. They need YOU. Not another mum guilt-tripping herself because she’s not doing enough 👏🏼

Not every hour needs to be productive & not every season of life needs to look or feel like a perfectly curated moment in time!

Your real, messy, ordinary life isn’t something you need to escape from to become the woman you want to be 🫶🏼

Stop normalising burnout, overconsumption & the pressure to be everything to everyone!

Your life doesn’t have to look impressive to be a good one 🫳🏼🎤

Not me posting this after deciding being a redhead is my new character upgrade 🤣😭

But I had the shower at my mum’s & came out thinking her products were SO much better than mine!

Only they were literally just different & it made me think how much we do this with EVERYTHING! 👀

We get bored of what we’re doing, see someone else’s new plan or challenge & suddenly think oohhh maybe THAT’S what I need, instead of thinking maybe I just need to keep going, we decide the plan isn’t working and go looking for the next thing 🫠

You’re a grown up you can be bored for a lil bit whilst you reach your goals!!

Anyway, turns out my mum’s shower gel isn’t life changing, it’s just not mine x

Things I’m certain of at 33 ✨

We can always choose the next step. That’s it. That’s the whole point!

You can be a mess, unsure, terrified but taking the next step can change EVERYTHING 🤏🏼💕

One thing I fully trust after years of proof, it always works out! Maybe not always the way you planned but IT👏🏼ALWAYS👏🏼WORKS👏🏼OUT

The things I was scared of? Got through them 👀

The decisions that kept me up at night? Haven’t looked back 👀

The times I chose messy action over perfect planning? Best decision every time 🫶🏼

So stop waiting, girl you’re as ready as you’ll ever be!!

Choose the next step, take it messy & trust it will work out 🦋
