▶️ FAIR DAY ◀️

Early start as we headed off to the Lincoln Show, honestly think we may have spent more time chatting than shopping, catching up with so many familiar faces!!

Fair done and off we headed to to spend the rest of the afternoon perusing their many buildings and showrooms..... Buying furniture as it was hitting dealers displays seemed the only way to do business today as sold labels were going on thick and fast!!.... No hanging about here that was for sure!! 😳

Tomorrow morning it's up before the sun as we head off for an even earlier start Newark..... Still a wee bit of room to fill! 😉

Some things you buy not because they're overly practical, but simply because of their craftsmanship, history.....and, well, just because you love them!.....this is one such example! 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

A late Victorian Church Lectern in Pitch Pine, and of a gothic revival style. It looks like the designer/craftsman wanted to create his own little church, copying architectural details such as the roof, columns and buttresses.

So if you have a use for it, or if you simply want it to sit in the corner of a room displaying a beautiful book, it's on the website with all the details now.😊👍🏻

Remember that spiral staircase we built in our Lisbane Showroom?? Well, not one's for giving ourselves work, but we dismantled it again and rebuilt it in our courtyard! 🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂

A few days well spent in this glorious sunshine doing a bit of gardening..... Gotta make the most of that sun!! 🌞

Showrooms open again on Saturday but we'll be closing up early at 1pm....we need a wee restocking trip! 😉

Well, if your name is E.V.Lees, then this is your lucky day!!

A late Victorian tack trunk, heavily constructed in pine, stained outer finish with original metal banding to the lid and iron carry handles to the sides. Stamped clearly with the makers mark to the underside of the lid.

Ok, so your name may not be written all over it, but it's a great coffee table size and perfect for that equestrian fan! 🐎

Out into the garden this Sunday evening for a sunny . Picked this one up on our last trip a rather nice 19th Century Japanese hand thrown vase.

Decorated with hand-painted enamel characters in bright, colourful animated scenes...which include, along with a collection of hopping frogs, and what swung it for us when buying, a little octopus peeking out from behind a Japanese gentleman..... There was no way we were leaving without it! 🤷🏻‍♂️

So from Sunny Northern Ireland have a great Sunday evening and smashing Bank Holiday weekend folks! 🍷
