Something a little more on the rustic side today, a Victorian or possibly earlier, cobblers stand. An all in one workbench and seat where a cobbler would have stored his tools and crafted his shoes. 👠

With patination which shows over a century of use, this piece makes a cracking little coffee table come footstool.....I know that for a fact as that's what we've been using it as! 😉

The week continues with deliveries and workshop time getting things ready for reopening on Saturday! ☺️👍🏻

Yes indeed, it sold from the workshop, but no harm in showing the finished piece.😉

One of the finest tables we've had the pleasure to own, an absolute beauty, great condition and fabulous craftsmanship..... honestly, had we room, its new home would have been here!

Had forgotten what this place looked like..... But hey, it's great to be back!

Currently on the bench a stunning early 1800's Drum / Rent table, and a rather nice Chinese torchere stand..... I honestly don't mind what's on the bench, I just love being in the workshop!

⭐A Jen's favourite⭐

Yes, Jen's loves cats! We have so many cat keepers in our collection......but this one from our latest sourcing trip, definitely deserves to be shared on our socials 😍 Just look at his wee face!

When we found this little dude at an antique fair we just had to have him. This 1930s novelty clock (we think molded from syrocowood), in full working order, was brought out and took pride of place in every hotel room we stayed in 😂.

That's another item added to the collection and we love it!

So there you have it, our latest Sunday Keeper......We still have a tiny bit of space....don't we?? 😳

▶️ LISBANE ◀️

Our Lisbane showrooms tend to appear and disappear depending on stock levels, and are currently available to view by appointment.

It's been a busy few days since our return, getting the new stock off the van, polished and staged, and our showrooms at Lisbane have been replenished and are available for bookings.....

However, with pieces already finding their new home, it may not be too long until our Lisbane pop-up vanishes again for another wee while! 😉👍🏻

Well our final day shopping didn't disappoint! With everything from fine vintage French garden chairs to industrial crucibles and a time worn and well loved antique Boulle Jardiniere...we're full!

Now to get it all home and unloaded 🙌🏻 Unloading day is better than Christmas 😉

It's our penultimate day, and it didn't disappoint..... in fact we got carried away, and have to pack up what we can tomorrow as we ran out of time today! 😳

It'll not all make it home this trip, but sure there's always the next one to collect whatever's left behind....and we all know that'll not be long in coming around! 😉

▶️ ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS ◀️

Yes indeed, today was definitely more of an architectural antiques kinda day, from an almost 9' long, 19th Century English hand-carved Funeral Directors Sign, to similar period teak columns from Afghanistan and a Sandstone Jaali screen from India.

Honestly, what other job allows you to own such a diverse collection of items from across continents......and each and every one soon available to buy for your home from our showrooms in Comber, Northern Ireland! ☺️
.....and the buying's not finished yet! 😉

Well, as we found a beautiful Victorian aviary yesterday, we thought it only fitting that today we find some beautiful birds to accompany it!

With stunning colours and simple, understated ebonised stands, these are perfect for modern and period interiors alike.
